Particle Animation

This animation shows a multiple cyclone.  The air flow contains ash from a combustion process.  The multiple cyclone is a device that cleans the air by removing ash particles of a certain size.

Particles become a very useful animation tool when trying to describe a process that is not purely mechanical in nature.  Air movement, water flowing through a pipe, dust movement in air, wood chips, sawdust, etc are examples.  Often these types of animations require titles to help explain the process more clearly.
