The purpose of the ATS Automation log cutting solution system is to provide individual log scanning and to determine log diameter, length and sweep. The PLC/PC computer calculates the desired log rotation based on a horns-down orientation and the log breakdown cutting solution based on the log diameter. The graphical representation of the final solution is displayed on a computer interface.
