The MillExpert Planer Grader Optimizer can be located either before or after the grading station. The transverse orientation allows accurate measurements to be taken while the wood moves in a stable relaxed fashion. This approach allows warp characteristics such as bow, twist, crook, and cup to be measured. The high-density 3D laser scanning system collects dense, full coverage scans, with essentially no gaps in the data. Auto calibration, dynamic tuning, and sophisticated diagnostics are all part of this advanced measurement system.
