Designed for transverse edgers and trimmers, BioVision makes value decisions driven by the accurate detection of biological and geometric defects, using a combination of HD color vision and HD laser profile scanning.

BioVision's modular design lets you implement this capability easily with a bolt-on upgrade to your existing transverse scanner, applying the BioLuma 2900V HD vision sensor. In this configuration the vision sensor data is combined with laser profile data from your existing scanning system, to yield optimized decisions based on both visual images and laser profile measurements.

Alternately, you can apply both these technologies with the installation of a new scan frame equipped with BioLuma 2900LV sensors. Dense laser profiles (0.3" / 8mm) are combined with HD color vision (1 x 0.5 mm) at very high speed (2500 Hz). You get full 4-sided scanning yielding accurate grade and profile measurement analysis.
