Truck Loading Storage Bins

Specifications for Truck Bins:

Power Unit:
Door actuating system includes two 4" x 48" hydraulic cylinders, one 15 HP 20 GPM pump, 30 gallon oil reservoir complete with filter, piping, hoses and manually operated hand valve.

Ladders and Catwalks: (optional)
Caged ladder to all steel catwalk complete with handrail

Access Door:
Access door served by catwalk

Bin-Dicator:
One bin-dicator electrical device to warn when bin is full

Finish:
One coat of ‘Carothers and Son' blue paint, or to Customer's specs and color

Support Structure:
All 15 thru 42 unit support structures will conform to ‘Zone 3' seismic load and are designed to support collection and distribution equipment.

Walls:
Bunker skin material is 12 ga. mild steel using 3" and 4" channels as required for stiffeners. All interior walls are smooth and clean with top panels sloped at 65°.

Doors:
Hinged bottom dump doors open 96" wide. Doors are a welded box type with 3/16" mild steel interior floor over 8" channels and 10 ga. mild steel outer skins. The closing edge of the door is toothed and gusseted with 3/16" mild steel plate.
