Gilbert Products Inc. manufactures electric motorization that can be retrofitted on any model of planer, which results in significant planer production improvements. This is the same system used in the Gilbert Planer. One motor drives four feed rolls resulting in four times more torque on each roll and half as much energy being consumed.
The Gilbert electric motorization can also be retrofitted to any model of feed table and bridge.
