A numeric control system which is attached to the planer by installing electric servo-motors onto the five axes (top and bottom cutterheads, left and right side heads and entry table).  Features:

• Production changes in less than two seconds (i.e. 2x3 to 2x6)
• Automatic quick release system and immediate return to production after wood jamming
• System allows both side heads to be moved 0.002 of an inch on either side to eliminate skips
• Constant precision of manufactured products (only the first piece needs to be measured)
