A flexible machine with several installation alternatives. When capacity requirements are moderate, it can be equipped with hour-glass rollers which feed the log, lower it onto the log turning chains, raise it after reduction and feed out the log for further handling/processing. This allows the BR 700 butt-end reducer to be placed inline with the log handling system.
