The True Shape scanner is a compact, fast, rugged laser line-scanner. It is the perfect device for measuring the three-dimensional shape of an object. By projecting a laser line on an object through triangulation, the camera measures the exact polar coordinates of the intersection of the line and the object. The True Shape scanner measures object at every 0.025" with a precision of 0.010".

This completely self-contained unit accumulates the entire data shape of an object without outside intervention. When ready, just send in a TCP/IP request and get all the accumulated data needed for your optimization process.
