The Del-Tech M-3 Ripsaw is used to convert random width trim ends and other short material into uniform width components for finger jointing blanks. The M-3 is designed to efficiently handle short materials and can be set up with a manual or automatic in-feed system.

The M-3 has two options: Batch block, auto feed, single cutting solution and Random block, manual feed, multiple cutting solution.

(2) Infeed and (2) outfeed knurled and chromed bottom feed rolls cantalever mounted in machine frame. The machine is designed to feed from (9") to (32") long blocks from 175 to 250 FPM.

The hold down roll assemblies are spring tensioned, mounted between the saws. Each hold down assembly has (4) idler rolls positioned above each feed roll in position for operator ease of operation. The hold down rolls can be adjusted from the infeed side to the outfeed side individually for height and tension to the wood. These adjustments can be made from outside the machine while stopped or in production. The hold down roll assemblies are mounted in a hand wheel adjustable frame. This frame is raised to an up position for saw removal from the front of the machine.

There are (3) infeed options available that are easily bolted to the basic saw frame.
