M-4 Short Stock Ripsaw
The Del-Tech M-4 Ripsaw is used to convert random width trim ends and other short material into uniform width components for finger jointing blanks. The M-4 is designed to efficiently handle short material and can be set up with a manual or automatic in-feed system.
Six 2 ¼” diameter bottom feed rolls drive the material through the saw, allowing the M-4 Ripsaw to efficiently process material as short as nine inches (9”) in length. There are two sets of top mounted hold down roll assemblies, with idler rollers, positioned between each pair of saws.
Once the material has been ripped, each block is supported on a bottom tailing bar and removed from the machine by a floating overhead full width conveyor belt. The edging strips simply fall down between the tailing bars and into a waste conveyor system.
