The EdgerView range of edger saw positioning systems have been designed to provide a user friendly, fast and accurate process for board edging. A solid state camera captures the image of a board and overlays computer generated saw lines on top of the board image.

The base EdgerView systems require an operator to manually align wane locations, while the EdgerView Pro Scan has a precision scanner that automatically identifies board dimensions and wane locations. Once the scan has been achieved the optimiser searches a look up table for the closest available solution and generates the solution onto a live video image of the actual board that was scanned. The operator now has the option of letting the board proceed to the saw or manually adjusting for a higher-grade solution.
