Bins and silos are used to store materials for further processing or loading trucks, trailers, trains, etc. for shipping.  A bindicator or height measuring device controls the flow of material into the bin or silo.  The bins have a discharge system to meter the material for processing.

Silos are manufactured from various materials such as wood, concrete and steel.  Bins and silos typically handle chips, sawdust, shavings, bark, sander dust, pulp and wood pellets.
