Log Lathe: For production of cylindrically shaped logs used in log home manufacturing and building. These milled logs are the main component of the log home or log cabin shell.  The lathe can be used for log debarking, removal of layers of wood from the log and milling of a lateral groove (Swedish cope) in the log.

Log Notch Maker: The log notch maker mills notches in the logs either perpendicular or at specific required angles.  The notches in the log interlock with adjacent logs in building the log home shell.

Log Cross Cut Machine: Cross cut machines (log trimmer, log chop saw) are used to cut logs to the required length.  These can be circular or chain saws.  The saw cuts through the log at a predetermined length.

Log Mortising Machine: The log mortising machine cuts a mortise in the log ends for connecting two logs using block of hardwood.
