Once again Sweden and the city of Jönköping will be the international bioenergy focal point hosting the 3rd edition of World Bioenergy. This major global bioenergy get-together is based on the unique "Taking you from Know-How to Show-How" concept, combining conference sessions, field excursions and tradeshow into one comprehensive event. The purpose of the event is to promote the commercial implementation of bioenergy technologies and solutions. By attending World Bioenergy delegates not only expand their own Know-How horizons but also their Know-Who networks.

Held in 2006 the 2nd edition of World Bioenergy gathered 1168 conference delegates from 60 countries from all over the world. Some 4200 persons visited the exhibition, and 64 study visits were performed at a wide range of bioenergy sites.
