It's Australasia's new Technology Show and Expo. It's designed for all wood processing operations in the Drymill and stand-alone wood manufacturing companies. For over 13 years the Forest Industry Engineering Association (FIEA) has been running the very popular Wood Manufacturing technology programmes for New Zealand and Australian companies. They’ve detailed with international and local expertise and case studies the very latest technologies, tools, innovations and operating practices that can be adopted and used by local wood manufacturers to improve their profitability. Linked to the wood manufacturing theme, DryTech technology programmes have been run every 2-3 years for those involved in kiln drying.
Based on feedback from a wide cross section of industry on both sides of the Tasman, it’s been decided to amalgamate both technology programmes in 2010. Wood Manufacturing 2010 will be a much more expansive programme. It will include workshops, displays and managed exhibitions as part of larger Expo and it will cover all of the core operations that are being undertaken in the Drymill and in stand-alone wood manufacturing plants.
